Backyard Landscaping Project – Patio Revamp & Artificial Lawn Installation

Situation:

We were instructed by a young family in London to transform a child-unfriendly, cluttered garden into a safe, open, and usable space. The garden had uneven paving, old fencing, and overgrown shrubs, making it unsuitable for children to play or adults to relax.

Task:

The brief was to clear, level, and simplify the outdoor area with a clean and minimal design. The client had a very limited budget and a tight 3-day window for completion, needing it ready before a family event.

Action:

• Cleared all debris, broken slabs, and hazardous elements

• Leveled the soil and installed a safe turf substitute

• Repaired and repainted existing fencing to save cost

• Added compact planting for a touch of greenery with low maintenance

• Completed light landscaping to open up sightlines and create space

Result:

The project was delivered on time and within budget, transforming the space into a child-safe, low-maintenance garden. The client was thrilled with the outcome, especially given the speed and quality despite the constraints.
